This quiet sunny area has many summer homes that belong to the more wealthy Maltese. Bugibba provides sightseers with great views of St. Paul’s Bay and its islands with it being the main resort in the area.

This popular area has a lot of tourist hotels and is also known for having the best nightlife, a casino, a movie theatre, and a bingo hall.

Qawra is the latest tourist area that has been built-up with shops and amenities that are located alongside the seafront. Old Town is for the most part a residential area that does not have a lot of tourist accommodations or amenities.

St. Paul’s Bay offers a variety of places to stay ranging from hotels to self-catering apartments. There are also many things to do in your leisure time. If you enjoy the water, then you can take part in the activities at the seafront.

Most of the foreshore is rocky, but you can sunbathe on the many rocks that are flat. The area is fantastic for water sports with snorkelling and swimming being very popular.

In addition to the rocky foreshore, there is also a small beach that is located at the head of St. Paul’s Bay. Diving schools also offer scuba diving for beginning to advanced divers.

You can shop for souvenirs and more at the shops throughout St. Paul’s Bay, but especially along in Bugibba since it has the main shopping centre. There are many cafes and restaurants to dine in that can satisfy your taste buds with American, Chinese, Argentinean, and Italian cuisine.

If you enjoy the nightlife you can visit Bugibba, which is the host to many nighttime activities. If you would like a mixture of quieter bars and cafes, you might want to visit Old Town. St. Paul’s Bay is certainly a charming resort with delightful attractions.
