Holiday in Paceville Malta

Paceville Malta (pronounced “patchyville”) is the nightlife capital of Malta with all its nightclubs, bars, pubs, and restaurants. The island also offers shopping, resorts, and beaches to enjoy.

Prior to World War I, lawyer and developer Dr. Giuseppe Pace built several seaside homes to rent to the British servicemen that were stationed nearby. The area consisted of mostly fields and just a few restaurants until the 1960’s when the Sheraton and Hilton hotels built on property in the area. This started bars, clubs, and other hotels to also develop in the area which increased the number of British servicemen and tourists already living there.

Paceville Malta offers a variety of casinos, movie theaters, bowling alleys, game arcades, health food stores, and diving schools. Bay Street shopping mall recently opened and has many restaurants, coffee shops, bars and internet cafes in addition to its many stores. There are also many beaches to choose from, such as St. George’s Beach, to spend a relaxing day in the sun and sand. The Millennium Chapel is in the midst of all the nightclubs and has counseling facilities and Christian bookshop.

The abundance of restaurants offers a variety of foods such as Maltese, Sicilian, Italian, Greek, Japanese, Mexican, Spanish, Thai, and American. There are also health food stores, vegetarian restaurants, and fast food restaurants.

The nightclubs offer something for everyone with jazz, piano, latino, rock, 80’s, salsa, rhythm and blues, and hop hop music.

There are many hotels to choose from. In addition to the Hilton and Sheridan, there’s also Alexandra Palace, Vivaldi Hotel, Westin Dragonara Hotel, Inter Continental Hotel, and many more.

Buses are available as public transportation to take tourists from one destination to another.

The weather in April, May, and June is pleasant and not too hot for sunbathing. July and August are extremely hot and require cooling off in the hotel pool. The temperatures cool off nicely in September as rain sets in.

Paceville Malta is the perfect holiday for families with children or just for the adults. There are many sights to see and experience with never a dull moment or lack of anything to do.
